August 4, 2020, the world paused for a moment. Beirut, Lebanon has gone through irreversible damage
due to a huge blast at Beirut’s port. The country and its people have lost loved ones, gone through internal struggles, economic crisis, COVID-19 and now a cataclysmic explosion. Over 300,000 people homeless, 5,000 injured, and 150 dead. The numbers still seem to be increasing. Beyond these tragic incidents, Lebanon imports over 80% of everything it consumes, while Beirut's ports handle 60% of all of those imports, with its sudden destruction, our people need us more than ever. The country could remain bleak, but it will not through the resilience of the Lebanese and people of the world, as we are all for Beirut. Nevertheless RobocomVR believes that in order for a brighter future it is important that everyone does their part in one way or another to rebuild the city. To start - RobocomVR will be striving to help Beirut and its overlooked charities through a 6-hour event in order to help out charity organizations such as Childrens Cancer Center of Lebanon Their aim is to support the cause to rebuild and provide for the people of Beirut, one dollar at a time. The Charity Stream will go for 6 hours beginning at 4:00 PM Beirut Time. Celebrities, influencers will go against esports gamers who are all joining the cause. The Stream is used as a medium to reach to the local community, spread awareness and grow our donations while trying to take some of our minds off the tragedies that occurred in our beloved Beirut. For every dollar that has been donated, Robocom VR will match the same. We believe that every little effort counts towards the relief that is required towards Lebanon and we want what is best for People. Please join the Stream, share on social media and show your support. We urge you to support the stream in any way possible, whether it's to donate, share it or even drop by and watch the stream, small steps such as this go a long way.
